The Recreational Way
The Cycle Walk Way is a proposed plan for the future of Coolah residents and visitors.
The proposed first stage will be around town utilising some existing paths and roads, also along the banks of the beautiful Coolaburragundy River, where exercise stations will be positioned and signs stating local points of interest and history plus areas for picnics.
The second stage will be to restore the Coolah Railway Siding including the old turntable, plus information points.
The third stage will be to take the track out to the Sports and Recreational Grounds (Rodeo Grounds).
When the track is completed there will be approximately 10kms of cycle and walk way.
